Here is me, Diego Pereira. Resident in Berlin, the very cradle of Bauhaus.
I came here years ago, fascinated by its proximity to this movement and its ideals. I have studies in Construction Engineer and Energy Efficiency. Bauhaus synthesises both those fields in a perfect manner and it has been to me an inspiration for many life projects. Diego Pereira, the brand, is the combination of all those experiences.
Diego Pereira is a restoration & retail company for avant-garde interior pieces based in vibrant Berlin-Friedrichshain, close to some unique Bauhaus architectural treasures very much worth visiting. We rescue eclectic and sophisticated interior elements contemporary to the Bauhaus movement that once graced the modern houses of enlightened and fashionable families across Europe. Our goal is to meticulously restore the remaining original elements in its original state and, detailed to the personal tastes of our customers, we redesign the missing parts and adapt them to the demands and standards of the 21st century based on the Bauhaus principle: —less is more—
Diego Pereira incorporates the work of different craftsmen who are inspired by the idea of rescuing industrial, artistic and historical interior elements, reinterpreting and readapting them to the uses, standards and tastes of our times and customers.
The brand plans to expand its potential by introducing other Bauhaus or avant-garde elements to its collection as well as unique art concepts.
